By using this website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this website. Terms and conditions are subject to change by NS Give at any time.

• We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the content provided is accurate. However, we cannot accept liability for any losses or damages which may arise from using or relying on information on this website. No promises are made outside the copy detailed on the website. Photos are added to realistically showcase the items but must not be used to solely determine the details of the item for auction. We are not responsible for any injury, damage, or offense  that results from the website, auction, or promotion.
• You must not attempt to interfere with the website, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt any computer system, server, website, router, or any other aspect related to the auction. Nor may you interfere with the auction and bidding process or menace, harass, or limit any person for bidding. Violations will be prosecuted.
• We may at our sole discretion add, delete or change some or all of our services at any time.

The Timeline

• Step 1: Donated items were secured between January and March 2026.
• Step 2: Approved items are collected, verified, and packaged for auction before March 9, 2026.
• Step 3: NS Give online auction goes live March 9, 2026.
• Step 4: The NS Give auction website accepts bids until 9:30PM on March 21, 2026.
• Step 5: Approximately 10 items will be auctioned live at the NS Give Gala between 8 – 9PM on March 21. The Gala will be held at Anaina Hou Community Park, but Anaina Hou Community Park is not involved with the NS Give auction. They are the  location host for the NS Give Gala.
• Step 6: Winners are notified of their winning bid between 9:30PM – 11 PM (Hawaiian-Aleutian Standard Time) on March 21, 2026. Winners have 2 days to complete their purchases with payment.
• Step 7: When possible, items of which payment is confirmed, are delivered electronically within 72 hours after the Gala.
• Step 8: If you need to pick up your items, two days are scheduled for auction winners to pick up their items.

  Pick up location is 4134 Aloali’i Drive in Princeville; pick up dates are:

  • Tuesday, March 24 at 12:00noon – 6:00PM
  • Saturday, March 28 at 12:00noon – 3:00PM

  If you need the item(s) to be shipped, please contact Maylette Garces: maylette@northshoregive.org, (808) 720-1645. Shipping costs will be added to your account and need to be pre-paid before shipment.

Last Minute

Be careful not to wait for the last minute/second to make a bid. To view an auction in real time you must continuously refresh the auction page in order to keep up with the auction clock. When bidding in the last minutes/seconds of an auction the clock is running as you refresh the page, and your bid may not be accepted and processed before the auction actually closes. We are not responsible for potential bids that do not connect with the system in time.

Payments and Fees

• When you place a bid online at NS Give you are entering into a legally binding contract to purchase what you bid on.
• Bids cannot be withdrawn or canceled.
• If you are the highest bid at 9:30PM on March 21 the NS Give Auction System will automatically declare you the winning bid.
• If you are the winning bidder, you will be notified between that evening and requested to finalize your transaction electronically. You will be given 24 hours to do so and may at that time decide whether you wish to pay via PayPal, the credit card you placed on file, or via ACH.
• ACH payment via the bank will have no transaction costs. If you pay by credit card or through PayPal, a 3% credit card transaction fee will be added to the winning bid amount.
• If you do not select your payment method within 24 hours, we will charge the credit card you placed on file when registering.
• You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes as well as for any and all hardware, software, internet service, and other costs you may incur to bid, buy, procure a listing from us, or access our servers. Note that charities on Kauai are subject to the general excise tax (GET) of 4.5%.

Tax Deduction

• The North Shore Give (via the Kauai North Shore Community Foundation) is a registered 501(3)c charitable organization.
• NS Give will provide all buyers with details of the items they won and confirm the amount paid for each item.
• Fair Market Value is not determined by NS Give but by each party. Buyers and donors should consult their own tax advisors to determine the appropriate tax deduction they should claim.

Closing of your Account

To permanently disable or remove your account please send an email requesting your account be closed.
